The rapid development of multimedia technology and the popularity of the Internet has brought great convenience to people's study and work.People can interact information through the network and share network resources. Internet has become indispensable information interaction tool. But at the same time serious security problems of information transfer is following, how to protect information security on transport process has become an important part of the research field in information technology.The traditional information security is guaranteed through encryption, but to enhance the security by increasing the length of keys has begun to reveal defects with the rapid growth of computing capacity. However, to some extent, the emergence of information hiding technology provides a solution for these issues. In this paper, the content is "text information hiding based on semantic algorithm", that is, how a period of normal language of the text adopted by secret algorithm will be revised to another normal section containing secret information.This paper analyses the formation, development, applications and research topics of information hiding technology,and introduces the existing information hiding algorithm based on text. Some typical algorithms were compared. On this basis, the paper proposes a text information hiding algorithm based on the layered structure of the natural language. The information hiding algorithm is based on the vocabulary layer, syntactic layer, semantic layer of the three-layer structure. On the vocabulary layer, synonymous substitution, homophony substitution, additions and deletions conversion of the auxiliary word "de" consisting of a modifier or mathematical expression of Chinese characters are used to hide information in text. On the syntactic layer, equivalent syntactic structure conversion is used to hide information in text. On the semantic layer, the paper proposes an information hiding method based on anaphora resolution technology in Chinese text. As the information hiding algorithms used on the three-layer structure of the natural language are independent,and have more or less disadvantages,the method based on the three-layer structure of the natural language (the method based on discourse layer ) achieves the more capacity of hiding information than the method based on one layer. Finally, some related experiments are performed on the discourse layer in Chinese text by using tools such as Chinese lexical analysis system. Comparing with other methods based on semantic for information hiding,experiments show that the improved method based on discourse layer achieves the better imperceptibility, the more capacity of hiding information and the more anti-attack capability.
