The Analysis And Design Of Network Facsimile System

Network facsimile, also called electric fax, is a kind of message which can be stored and transferred through PSTN and the Internet. Developed by combining the telephone network, the intelligent network and the internet , network fax is a telecommunication value-added service, which enables the users to send and receive faxes by their own computers, just like sending an email.Compared with the traditional fax, the network fax has the following advantages. It lowers down the communication expenses through the internet transmission; it is a convenient broadcasting way of sending faxes and can be used in the traveling work; also it reduces the communication facilities, because we don't need the special tax lines and can backup the fax message.The system development is made up of the following sub-systems: logging-in the interface, documents translating system, queuing system, short message supporting system, charge and accounting system etc. the short supporting message and charge and accounting systems can show the advantages mostly and they also realize the two functionsBy a thorough study on this project, there becomes a service as "Ruyi facsimile ",the network fax technical is applied from the theory stage into practice, which solves the technical problems of the sending and receiving of the faxes, the management of the users, short messages and account support. Thus it realizes the network fax function and specializes in the Mobil Operating Corporation's unique advantage of this service, that is, the combination with the short message function, the accomplishment of the opening service by ways of short message, the short message notice when the fax arrives, using mobile accounting system to accomplish bill entrusting collection.In the last, the author gives her two suggestions to the system's improvement, the first one is adding the notice function of short message, the other one is exploitation of the background management system.
