Faced with an increasingly competition and ever-changing needs of the international market, An enterprise has to continuously shorten product development time, improve quality, reduce costs, improve services, in order to fierce competition in the market invincible. Development mode of traditional collaborative is used,as a result, the design of products is often poor machinability and assembly as well as user dissatisfaction and other issues. These problems often have been extended to the manufacturing stage, and even been found when delivery to the user. Subsequently, revising design solution not only extended the product development cycle, increasing the cost of manufacturing, also customer needs can not be satisfactorily guaranteed.In the topic seven model optimization strategies of Web-based reconstruction of collaborative design technologies are proposed in theory and system design, which detailed algorithm to reduce the volume of documents, LOD method. Besides this,three solutions to improve download speeds in the process of designing remote was suggested . Finally the framework MEMPHS also are addressed, visibility can be improved by using this framework in the collaborative design of mechanical products .When the CAD model converts to VR model VR-CAD geometry and metadata synchronization, high visibility, data consistency and data integrity are still maintained, detailing component parts of MEMPHS framework including metadata servers, file servers, MEMPHS client adapter and virtual reality adapter, CAD-VR converters and detailed coordination process between other components, experiment and the work process are did through VRMLPAD environment, the experimental data is obtained ,results show good visibility of the product.The implementation of the technical in this subject provides a good foundation to advance collaborative of self-development HUST-CAID system.Also can achieve compression of production costs, shorten product development cycle, further lay a solid foundation for establishing a new generation of virtual reality technology programmes and collaborative design architecture .
