The movement of the social and technological progress, healthy concept, healthy fashion and approach of people are changing deeply. This is the area of causing hemal disease of heart and brain frequently in our country. But most hospitals have few cardiogram detecting equipments, and these equipments can not be moved easily and are too expensive, so that the equipments can not satisfy needs of the market. To satisfy the needs and depreciate the iatrical cost, the investigation and designation for a set of remote Electrocardiogram(ECG) monitoring system based on GPRS is presented in this dissertation.In addition to study the human ECG producing principle and the practical meaning of its remote detecting, the author analyzed the character of the ECG signal and its main disturb source deeply, and studied request of ECG signal detecting. GPRS technical is chosen for the remote ECG monitoring system.Considering the characters of ECG signal and its disturbance, the ECG detecting hardware system is designed in this work. The effect of the hardware system is ensured through the reasonable designation of a band-pass filter coefficient, and several simulations for this detecting circuit. Based on the analyses of the SIM300 GPRS module control method, the corresponding hardware control circuit is designed in this dissertation.In the software project, the bottom program of SPCE061A is used to collect the ECG data and control the AT injunction to the GPRS module, which the wireless transmission is success on the ECG data. Using the VB6.0 and the SQL Server2000 developing method, remote monitoring software for ECG signal is designed based on Winsock software programming technique, which makes it to be possible.Considering the large numbers of the ECG data, the author analyzes the methods on compression of ECG signal. In this dissertation,the method is based on wavelet transform and adaptive coding. It can obtain better compression ratio and reflect the accurate detail of original signal.The remote ECG monitoring system can monitor the cardio patient sufferer when he is under the free condition. The system has advanced technical and practice application value.
