Spread Spectrum Communication technology is one of the three high-tech communication schemes in modern times. Compared with the conventional communication technologies, it has the low interception rate, strong anti-noise, anti-interference, and concealed information and multi-site communications and other features. At present it has rapid development from the military areas to civilian areas. After civilianize, it was quickly extended to various public and private communication networks, such as satellite communications, data transmission, location and other systems.In Spread Spectrum Communication technology, the most common is the direct sequence spread spectrum communication (DSSS) system, but for now most of spread spectrum chip functions have been cured, lack of flexibility in product development. Secondly, with FPGA and DSP combined realization of the direct sequence spread spectrum transceiver system more complex systems and high costs. In addition, the spread spectrum communication system in the modern receiver and the transmitter needs to be done quickly in many complex signals processing, and the reliability of the circuit has set a higher processing speed requirements. Therefore, the design of a fully with FPGA technology to the spread spectrum communication has strong practical value.According to the FPGA high-speed parallel processing capabilities and the characteristics of the entire hardware implementation, using of direct sequence spread spectrum technology, complete system simulation software and hardware design by QuartusII 6.0 Protel99se tools, The experimental results show that, compared with traditional FPGA and DSP combined realization, it increases processing speed and reduces the hardware delay, with the pipeline and technology, we improve the system of parallel processing capabilities. And the system can be adopted to modify and upgrade procedures, and compared with the spread spectrum chip, it is very flexible. All modules are integrated in a single chip, improving system stability and reliability.
