Since its operational system of 3D intelligence radar is totally different with that of 2D intelligence radar, same operational mode for clutter suppression can not be employed in order to achieve the same prospective effect in these two kinds of systems. Simultaneously, along with the requirements of high mobility and frequency band extension of radar, the frequency band of new-researched 3D highly mobile radar is led to high-side development. Due to the requirements of coverage airspace and scanning area for 3D radar, which restrict the time allocation of radar, 3D radar can not employ the similar sliding window processing system of 2D radar to achieve same clutter suppression ratio. And also because of system limit, 3D radar can not employ confirmation beam to verify characters of target and improve the target detection probability. In order to realize the low altitude detection, terrain matching and energy collective scanning, etc., the grounding beam may be wider and the time may be longer, therefore, the clutter environment is more severe for 3D intelligence radar than for 2D radar.This article enumerates sea-clutter suppression modes that can be adapted in 3D intelligence radar from the point of view of system designers. The author analyzes the feasibility to improve the current radar system. The author analyzes each and every improvement feasibility of current radar system under the precondition of large-scale changes and brings forward a new kind of clutter map processing method.
