| The technology of Computer Tomography (CT) is widely used in the field of Medicine, Industry etc. Then, how to get 3D information from 2D CT images becomes a hotspot that people focus on. At the same time, it accelerates the developing speed of Visualization in Scientific Computing (ViSC).The dissertation made a research on 3D reconstruction technology of medical CT images, completed the whole course of reconstruction from collecting CT images to 3D visualization, which includes the following steps: collecting medical CT images; adjusting the CT images'window location (WL) and Window wide (WW); image preprocessing; 3D reconstruction. The image preprocessing technology includes: image smoothing; image enhancement; image inserting; image segmentation.3D reconstruction of medical CT images was implemented on both common PC and SGI workstation. A detailed introduction of the reconstruction method using MATLAB and AMIRA software was stated, and the result of skin reconstruction and skeleton reconstruction were given. Experiments show that: 3D reconstruction on common PC with MATLAB software is feasible; but considering the running speed and display effect, PC and MATLAB have their own limitations, however, SGI workstation and AMIRA can show their talent on doing these things; especially when facing huge amount of data, SGI workstation can display its great power of processing and outstanding effect of 3D visualization.The flow and results of 3D reconstruction realized in this dissertation have been successfully used in the medical analysis and treatment, and got good evaluation. |
