This thesis was finished on the basis of the projects about security checking and exploder removing for Olympic stadiums charged by the National Defense Commission. Putting exploder in the building in advance and then waiting for detonating is a major terrorist activity in recent years. The 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo are worldwide events. Security checking and exploder removing is an important and necessary component to ensure the General being held successfully. The contents and innovations of this paper are as follows:1. Discussed some methods of clutter reduction, the basic theory of digital image and the slant image correction methods, introduced the mean-removed background method in detail. Analyzed and achieved the image segmentation technology, filtering technologies, as well as corrosion and expansion technology. Proposed a clutter suppression method based on the feature of Ground Penetrating Radar image and the image procession technology.2. Analyzed the differences of synthetic aperture image between Ground Penetrating Radar and ordinary radar. Discussed measurement of wave speed for Ground Penetrating Radar, proposed a method to measurement wave speed based on Hough transform. Basing on the clutter reduction method and image procession technology, used a method to realize fast synthetic aperture image for microwave holographic image.3. Introduced the Ground Penetrating Radar target identification and locating for the B-scan. Used an effective feature extracting and automatic identifying method based on the clutter reduction. Carried out a method of target location based on the window dividing.
