Multilevel Network Security Management System Based On Middleware

Network Security has become a focal issue with rapid development of network. NSMS(network security management system) has been raised to manage and control the security devices and security applications and events in the large-scope network.Multilevel NSMS is expanded to the distributed network on the LAN. It can manage security events,strategy and vulnerability. It would be effective in the capabilities of dealing with events and statistical analysis, and setting and sending security strategy of the whole network. So it improves the network security and defense capability and security management efficiency.First, a middleware ICE and NSM are introduced. Then, a multilevel NSMS is designed for managing all hosts and network security devices in the WAN. The mostly functions include monitoring operation, obtaining and dealing with the events, managing strategies. The NSMS is the same, and ICE is used as communication protocol. The communication module makes system with great flexibility and scalability, and applicable to a variety of network structure.It introduces the design of the whole system frame, and designed several security subsystem. And design and realization of communication module is focused on.
