As the increasingly requirement of QoS and data transmission rate for future service, there will be higher requirements for mobile communication systems' performance and bandwidth. However, bandwidth is very scarce resource in the mobile communication systems. So how to utilize the limited resources to meet the different services' QoS requirements become the hot research problem and very important in future wireless communications systems. As a parallel multi-carrier transmission technolohy, OFDM has become the first choice of physical layer technology as a result of the ability to combat multipath interference and high spectral efficiency in future broadband wireless access systems. Taking into account the different services' requirements of different users and the varing condition of channel, we can allocate resource dynamically in OFDM systems. Meanwhile this is the significance of the research of our subject on resource allocation algorithms which can guarantee QoS of different users' services in OFDMAsystems.Firstly in this paper, the research background of this subject is analysed, a brief introduction of OFDM technology's development and the QoS research's status in OFDM systems were presented. Then the basic principles and key technology about OFDM systems and current QoS mechanisms of OFDM systems were given. The next chapter three and four of this paper is my main work: an OFDMA system level simulation platform was designed and developed of which the channel part was my focus and interest. Based on the research on resource allocation algorithms which guarantee QoS in OFDMA systems and resource allocation algorithms in multi-cell OFDMA systems, a new resource allocation algorithm based on semi-static interference coordination which can provide QoS of multi-service was proposed and have been simulated and verified. The design and development of OFDMA system level simulation platform was mainly introduced in chapter three, anyway the channel model and development in channel block of this system level simulation platform was highlighted. In chapter four, the resource allocation mechanism providing QoS of current OFDM mobile communication systems was firstly introduced; Second, the resource allocation methods in multi-cell OFDMA systems were presented; Then multi-cell resource allocation strategies based on interference coordination mechanism were given a in-depth study and a new resource allocation algorithm based on semi-static interference coordination which can provide QoS of multi-service was proposed; Finally, this algorithm was simulated and analysed. Through the comparison with current multi-cell resource allocation algorithms which based on classic interference coordination strategies, we can get a conclusion that the algorithm proposed in this paper has relatively good performance.
