Research And Implementation Of Unified Authentication Based In Enterprise Information Portal

With the development of network and information portal technology, various application systems in portal are popular day by day. When access to multiple kinds of systems, users not only have to face different kinds of login pages but also have to memorize user name/password of each application system. Each system has its own account management systems and distrust on other. Administrators have to manage user's information of multiple systems to ensure data consistency. In order to build the unity of data platforms between multiple enterprise application systems and achieve the full integration of a number of single systems, the unified authentication system need to be integrated into enterprise information portal. The unified authentication system enables centrally management, authentication and authorization between portal and different application systems.This paper first elaborates the LDAP services, soap protocol, WebServices, SSO which are related technologies with unified authentication system, and then analyses the function of the unified authentication system and generate the architecture of the system. This system makes use of LDAP to realize the centralized management of user's information and makes use of SAML based SSO mechanism to realize users' uniform authentication and authorization.In the last, this paper uses a demonstration to identify the theories and technologies above. The demonstration includes a WebLogic portal based unified authentication system and an application system sample.
