Intelligent network (IN) is an overlay network over telecommunication networks, which enables new services to be provided rapidly and efficiently. Flexible and attractive service features give the convenience to the customers and also bring the tremendous profit for GSM carriers. Thus IN has turned into a key component of the telecommunication network.With the launch of value increment service, and the rapid growth of IN users, it becomes a important problem to supply large amount SCP (Service Control Point). This paper talks about two methods of implementing high capability SCP server. The first is raising the performance of SCP linearly through increasing the number of accounts to occupy more CPU. But this method will make too many accounts and make the maintenance difficult. So it is not feasible in practice. Through the study to the first method, we can find it is an important way of accomplishing high capability SCP server to raise capability of single account. Then we give the second method, as is raising capability of single scf process through avulse the database operation from scf and solves the high capability SCP problem.Database synchronism is very important in IN system and there is database synchronism in almost all the network elements. But now, in IN product, there are many synchronism methods and much software and as wastes much human and material resource. In another way, there are many defects in each synchronism method and as brings down the ability of IN network elements. So developing a sophisticated and all-purpose synchronism method becomes a top priority task.This paper gives a SDFAgent (Service Data Function Agent) scheme on the base of theory inference and experiment verification. Firstly, transfer the database operation from SCP to a new logic point called SDFAgent, as enormously raise the parallel characteristic of SCP service executing process and the performance of single SCP account raises by 5 times. The second, for the high reliability, every process has its own redundancy backup inside SDFAgent. The third, construct a distributing database operation platform by connecting all the SDFAgent points in IN, and effectively realize the function of remote database query and real-time data synchronism in multiple database. This paper present the theory base and specific implement of the scheme, and talk about the key technology. The distributing database function agent scheme present in this paper is a good reference to database function design of other large distributing server.
