This paper has designed a multi-functional intelligent control system in aquarium.Now such crafts as aquarium gradually enter houses and public places like hotels and department stores.But as for the aquariums found in the present markets, water temperature testing, water level control, water recycling and food feeding are all manually performed, bringing about a lot of troubles and inconveniences. This dissertation analyzes and studies the current applications of most aquariums'control devices and makes out a design of multi-functional intelligent control system in aquarium. This control system, taking chip microprocessors as the control core and combining sensor technology, has realized multi- functions, including constant temperature, automatic lighting, automatically changing water, automatically feeding food and automatic water recycling, and realized the long-distance control and management of the aquarium. The whole system falls into two parts: the first part is the control part with 89C52 as the core to set, store, show and process the control parameters; the second part is the input and output part with 2051 as the core to collect the testing signals sent by the sensors and output signals to realize the synchronic controls of the corresponding functions. In order to realizes the centralized management of many controllers in aquarium, have proposed the communication structure based on 485 buses between one-chip computer and pc,and the circuit principle picture of the hardware and the programs have designed.Through a comparably long time of performing test, this system is proved to be stable in performing, reliable, easy to use and economical in electricity consumption. In addition, it has flexible design, simple construction and low costs, making it easy to be manufactured on a large scale. This system can be widely used in families and hotels, etc.
