With the in-depth development of the information technology, there is an increasingly wide range of campus digitalization in china; Meanwhile, these campuses see a progressively large scale of the software project. Targeted at a variety of different users, the software has to meet a diversity of demands of teachers, students and parents. Simultaneously, the development of software today tend to rely more on teamwork rather than effort of those gifted individuals which makes more demands on the development of software, i.e. the software engineering.Software engineering, which is in some highly-informationized countries, has been extensively studied and experimented. In 1984,sponsored by the US Department of Defense, the Carnegie Mellon University set up the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) which studies the key factors of software development and the methods for evaluating leading and coordinating ability in software development management. After plentiful of research and practice, SEI put forward the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) . CMM is a method which can be used for evaluating the capability of intergroup Coordination . At present, it provides the most popular and practical standards for the software development process and the software company maturity authentication .CMM has five levels : the Initial Level , the Repeatable Level , the Defined Level ,the Managed Level and the Optimizing Level.This article mainly discusses how to combine the theory of two- stage CMM software process with the program of campus digitalization, and makes some modification to some important research on KPA based on the two- stage CMM. Some important practice in KPA are abstracted into a new key process based on some important issue in using the educational software. The author has many experiences in developing and managing the educational software, and puts forward a solution. In the process of implementing a program, the author sums up some criterions in using the software. People can use this criterion if he wants to accomplish the software according to schedule. As a fundation in the process of developing the educational software, the criterions can advance the ability in software developing.
