With the development of the information technology, a new tpye of teaching media has appeared in the field of education technology, which is Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Because of harmony result of 3D video-audio, and of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) based on human natural skill harmoniously and friendly, VR has been widely used in distance education and Distance Virtual Introduction (DVI) borns. In recent years, DVI has triggered profound changes in education model and education conception. However, it's still insufficient in the bi-direction alternation. The space-time separation in DVI leads to affection deficiency of learners, which will obviously cause bad effets on the learners' study and even their psychology healthiness. Therefore, affection encouragement and compensation is necessary for guaranteeing teaching quality and for improving teaching effects in virtual education. Now, affective computing has become a research hotspot in the filed of human-computer emotional interaction.Contraposing emotion absence in DVI, and under the research background of construction of harmonious HCI system, EIMBER (Emotion Interaction Model Based on Expression Recognition) is proposed exploringly and desined in this paper. In EIMBER, affective computing is its theoretic foundation, and FER is its kernel technology. EIMBER estimates and comprehends learners' emotion states by catching and recognizing their expression, then presents corresponding affective encouragement strategies according to the given emotion states. EIMBER promotes harmonious HCI, abates the emotion absence problem in edcatioin for some degrees, and does some profitable foundational works for solving the problem of emotion absence in DVI and harmonious HCI.
