| With the development of software engineering, the model of software construction is still in evolution. At the same time, new technologies in distributed field are emerging in endlessly. These technologies with the new software development model, having providing a powerful support for developing complicated, high-efficient and robust distributed application. And this has greatly promoted the application and development of distributed technologies. Although the current software construction model has successfully solved problems in software developing, it can't come up with maintaining and expanding existent system. Users need great time and resource to manage the complicated system and it is really hard to conformist. Further more, different technologies are not easy to communicate, because of market and profit reasons. And these problems are especially patency when developing distributed application in heterogeneous environment. Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a new generation of architecture ideology applying for distributed software development. SOA has solved the problems of applications for flexibility and interconnectivity wonderfully, because of its features of loose coupling, in dependent of Platform etc.. And it is widely used today.WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) is a new network communication API based on SOA by Microsoft. It has three special attributes: unify with Microsoft's technology, support interconnectivity by different company, apparent support service-oriented, and these features make it as a kernel technology for developing distributed application.This dissertation reviews the history of distributed software development model, analyses advantages and disadvantages of traditional C/S and B/S model, especially the multi-tier B/S model based on distributed component. This dissertation introduces basic concept, components and characters of SOA, and do research on web service. And then, this dissertation discuses the architecture and technology details of WCF. By comparing WCF with popular technology web service, this dissertation concludes the advantages of WCF. This dissertation presents a new developing model by combination WCF and multi-tier based B/S. This dissertation uses a mini-MIS by author as background, and introduces how to develop a distributed application with this model. By introducing characters of this model, this dissertation analysis advantages of WCF in constructing distributed application, and introduces how to construct flexible, security, reliable and has wonderfully interconnectivity distributed application. This dissertation analysis the concept of WCF and technology characters, and provides an example for such kind system development. And last this dissertation analysis the security mechanism of WCF, and solved the problems from 00 to SOA model and large data processing. |
