In this paper a colliery safety wireless monitoring system based on multi-source information fusion technique is designed. The design aims at the catastrophic and dangerous factors happened in the colliery environments and producing processes. The colliery integrated auto monitoring system based on leading techniques of loop industry Ethernet and Field bus technology is analyzed. The technique which is advantage about the wireless sensor network and multi-source information fusion in the colliery safety monitoring system is analyzed. The viewpoint that the two techniques are the available complementarities to the existing monitoring system and the capability improvement of them are expatiated.In this paper the design project about the ZigBee wireless sensor network node is concluded, and an expandable software and hardware flat also a low cost low power wireless sensor network node are designed when we use CC2430 from TI company. The flow chats and hardware circuits of the system are designed, and the node's anti-jamming and low power problems are considered from both aspects of hardware and software, thus anti-jamming and low power design of the sensor node are implemented.On the basis of the characteristics that Neural network owns strong learning capability and that Rough set theory's attributes is reduction, considered the colliery safety monitoring, the principle, algorithm, realization of them are demonstrated, which are combined as the Rough set-Neural network algorithm to realize the estimation of danger in underground circumstance. Through the combination of Rough set and Neural network, a new avenue to estimate mine environment synthetically are provided, which can also be widely used in other evaluations of complex environments.According to independent-design exploited flat, the grouped-network about Wireless sensor network, communication and data collection, as well as the capable parameters about Wireless sensor network node is tested and analyzed. According to the experiments, the wireless sensor network node designed in this paper could be a low cost, low power solution, and could also realize the communication between wireless sensors in lower power consumption.
