As a new method of knowledge representation, Conceptual Graphs have a strong ability of expressing semantics and readability. It can make up the deficiency of traditional method of knowledge representation effectively. Its research and application will certainly play a positive role in dealing with the problem of knowledge acquisition and the development of artificial intelligence and expert system. The paper introduced the basic conception of knowledge and knowledge representation. On the basis of the traditional method of knowledge representation, it summarized the property that a good knowledge representation should have and studied the definition, representation form and the lattice structure of conceptual graphs. Combining the conceptual graphs with the predicative logic, it discussed the reasoning of conceptual graphs, compared and analyzed the advantages of the method of conceptual graphs knowledge representation. The paper introduced the basic grammar, structures and features of the Prolog, giving the knowledge representation based on the conceptual graphs and using prolog to achieve the basic step of solving the problem. It realized the simple conception of set and its fundamental operations, discussed some properties of binary relation, emphasizing the realization and extension of the closure and its application of judging the combination relation such as equivalence, partial relation and so on.In view of the redundant result about finally function, the paper analyzed the reason, designed the appropriate rule and gave the effective solution. At last, it realized the autoimmunization of solving the problem and analysis of the result completely. Finally, the paper summed up the major achievements result from the whole paper and proposed the further work about it.
