Research And Implementation Of The Network Management System Of HuNan Unicom Based On Web Services/SOA

To meet the demand of customer in telecomm market, telecomm companies make huge investment in IT system. Reliability of IT resource must be a first_rank consideration for eneterprise operation. But the technologies used to deploy, configure, secure, monitor and control physical and logical IT resources have all evolved independently, resulting in a complex collection of systems management technologies and solutions. Different types of resources use a variety of manageability technologies. IT resourse management community has to face a number of challenges .As SOA has become more and more popular, Platform and programming language independence, loose-coupling has made Web services the technology of choice for most enterprise integration projects. The systems management community has an opportunity to adopt these same technology to help address the challenges mentioned above.First, this paper introduces the existing IT management techniques and the basic concepts of Web services. Then designs and implements a network management system based on Web services. Includes an manager and an ISA for legacy SNMP agent. It carries out configuration management, performance management, and fault management. The solution is deployed in Hunan Unicom. for the management of BSS .All the study provides theoretical and practical supports for IT management based on Web services.
