Design And Development Of FTA Tool Based On Windows Mobile 5.0

Fault tree analysis (FTA), an important branch in system reliability engineering, is a common practical technique used in evaluating reliability and safety for large-complex systems at home and abroad presently. With the continuous development of computer technology, the FTA analysis software is constantly updating, but there still is not one of them used in Mobile Platform.Computer-aided FTA theory has been expounded in this paper. What's more the reciprocal transformation rule for main parameters in FTA has been studied. Implements the qualitative and quantitative analysis based on using BDD, and using the link-list and queue for optimizing the minimum cut-set analysis process. A Fault Tree Analysis based on DFLM (Depth First Left Most) traversals was present to solve large FTA problems.This paper also analyzes the performance of mobile platform by comparing with the PC platform, and studies the active FTA constructing methods.
