Ultra-wideband(UWB)communication is a novel short-distance wireless communicate on technique,by which data are transferred using pulses with very short duration.It has a lot of advantages,such as high transmission rate,low power consumption,robustness to multi-path and so on.The characteristic of the UWB technology is receiving the correspondence academic circle and the industrial field value,and will obtain day by day the widespread application.Therefore,studies and enhances the ultra-wide band wireless communication system performance,have the vital scientific significance and the practical significance to wireless communication's development.And its key technologies including modulating technology,pulse formation,multiple access technique and so on.In order to understand UWB telecommunication better,the basis knowledge of UWB wireless communication is introduced in the first,such as the theory of UWB, basis impulse waveform,modulation technology of UWB and so on.We analyse and simulate the temporal expression and PSD of multiplicate typical UWB signal (TH-PPM-UWB,TH-PAM-UWB and TH-APPM-UWB).The relative content of receiver for multiple pulse signals are introduced,and the comparation of bit-error-rate(BER)under the different pulse repeat frequency,modulation means and different modulation are given by MATLAB simulation.In order to improve information transmitting rate,the multiple modulation schemes are emerged including TH M-ary pulse amplitude modulation(TH M-PAM)and TH M-ary pulse position modulation(TH M-PPM).Based on analyzing the two multiple modulation schemes,the expressions of symbol error rate(SER)are presented and the system performances are compared.At the last,we propose the TH-APPM-UWB system and TH-APPM-UWB system with different signal partitioning,then we analyse and simulate the performance of them.According to computer simulation,the conclusion can be achieved that compared to the UWB communication system of M-PPM,the performance of TH-APPM UWB system has lower SER.And the performance of UP scheme is better than BP and MP.
