It's well-known that information plays a even more important role in the global economic grouth with the advent of the era of knowledge economy; informationization has turned out to be an important strategy for a corporation to enhance their performance in the market with a highly intensive competition. Therefore, the Customer-centered customer relationship management system has become the first choice of informationization for a great deal of enterprises, with its capability to provide more rapid and satisfactory services to the user through the integration of information resources for our customers, its capability to attract and keep more customers and to make customer relationships more efficient, and to reduce business costs.But the CRM systems provided by large companies such as SAP, oracle in around the world, which are derived from the foreign market experience and design for different areas, may probably not in line with the requirement of enterprises in china in certain field, while the domestic CRM software, which are provided by companies with little experience, turn out to be out of date and most of them are based on the old C/S structure, which makes it hard to deploy and maintenance. Therefore the purpose of this study is to meet the requirement of the market, by designing a user-friendly customer relationship management system based on J2EE technology for small and medium enterprises.In this paper, the design targets "to be customers-centered, and to improve the capabilities to integrate and interact with other systems" are fulfilled based on study on the front-edge customer relationship management integration solutions provided by well-known CRM providers, this research also figured out the system requirements and design objectives for the J2EE based CRM system, focusing on J2EE technology for a more in-depth studies, particularly for some new concepts, frameworks and technology conducted in-depth study and application of practice, and finally a CRM system prototype has been given.The objectives follow were completed in this paper: first, a prototype of J2EE and B/S structure based customer relationship management system were developed, which consists of basic information management, transaction management, workflow management, sales statistics, market statistics and analysis, Organization management, personnel management, and other modules, with those modules the system can make enterprises carry out day-to-day transaction management, customer management and statistical data and analysis easily, statistical information can be graphical displayed and thus provide enterprises with decision support and potential customers recognition capability. second, the application of J2EE technology in Management Information System were studied, and many new Internet technologies in Web 2.0 such as ajax, extjs, struts, spring, hibernate were introduced, which enhanced the user experience. Finally, several new software structures and software design patterns were studied, the web service were introduced, which provide great deal of experience on solving technical problems in the field.
