In the operation of civil airports, apron service is an important part requiring very high quality. The quality of apron service often directly affects the economic interests of the airport. The flights couldn't be running on schedule if the quality of apron service can't be guaranteed. The poor quality of apron service will not only lead to loss of economic interests, but also cause a bad impact on the community. Computerized apron service management is a good way to improve the efficiency in the use of resource , staff efficiency and ensure an effective means of achieving operational flights. Apron Service Monitoring and Management System developed by CVIC Software Engineering Co. Ltd. and China Civil Airport Equipment Co. Ltd. is the key part of computerized apron. With the goal of organizing, managing and monitoring apron services as a workflow process, Apron Service Monitoring and Management System should improve the quality of apron service with providing statistical analysis functions to support management decision-making. The system also should have better scalability and maintainability as a solution to various airports with a very good value.I had taken charge of the development of Apron Service Monitor and Management System as the leader of developer team. In the development process, I took responsibility for the collation and some detailed analysis of customers' demand. I raised an idea to design the system based on OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) with supplement of AOP (Aspect—Oriented Programming). On this basis, I designed the layered clearly and rational system architecture with several open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Acegi, and Quartz. With the help of InforFLow (workflow middle software product) and InforReport (report middle software product), the system architecture meets the business requirements, and achieves the goal of scalability and maintainability. In the project, I designed and implemented the core business function, the security function and the exception handling function.Based on my work in the project, this article introduces the background and current global and civil research in the area. It describes the pattern and the ways of analyzing system requirements. After showing the system requirements specifications, it designs the system architecture and introduces the goals. The article displays several perspectives about detailed design of the core business function, the security function and the exception handling function. Finally, it makes a conclusion and an expectation from the business and technical aspects of the project.
