At the present,the study on tumor magnetic-induction hyperthermia is very hot,and that magnetic-induction hyperthermia treatment planning system is important content,its theory and technology including medical image standard,image processing,computer graphics,visualization,biomedicine,software engineering and so on.The subject belongs to Guangdong University of technology "Researching on the New Method of Treating Tumor with Hyperthermia Induced by Metal Seeds in the Intermediate Frequency Magnetic Field",which is supported by national nature science fund in 2004.This paper aims at tumor magnetic-induction hyperthermia system.On the platform of the treatment planning system,it synthetically uses technology of digital image processing,computer graphics technology,medicine etc.related knowledge., mainly studying in some key problems such as medicine image process,three-dimensional reconstruction algorithm,mouse CT image three dimensional reconstruction and demonstration,image data three-dimensional geometry modeling etc.The paper deep analyzes the relative technology difficulties of medicine image processing and modeling of tumor thermotherapy plan system from algorithm theory and practical application,its main contents as follows:This dissertation summarizes the present status,both domestic and abroad,of medical image visualization.In this dissertation,the key technologies of 3D reconstruction from medical CT are studied,and some concerned principles and algorithms are analyzed, including image preprocessing,segmentation and extraction of human tissues or organs, 3D reconstruction algorithm and its basic principles and characteristics.Using the Fourier transformation reconstruction algorithm to discuss the CT reconstruction algorithm and it has realized to the mouse lung and the tumor patient's CT image 3D reconstruction by using Matlab software tools and Amira software.It has provided the method and the basis for afterward experiments.Has carried on the 3D modeling using the Amira software to the tumor patient's CT image and obtained certain tissues or organ's surface mapping,grid surface mapping,body surface mapping etc.According to these three dimensional visualization model,not only may obtain certain tissues or organ's surface mapping,but also obtain the internal situation of the entity,has made the ideal effect of modeling reconstruction.Through the simulation software package of Amira software system,it has carried on the three dimensional finite element simulations to the patient model and constructed the high simulation 3D model.At the same time,it has realized the simulation model temperature province division through multi-channel display technology,which could be instructed doctor to see parameters of the treated regions.And it may carry on the neighborhood appraisal more importantly,which can avoid the important normal tissue affecting.It has laid the solid foundation for the three-dimensional puncture functional module of the HTPS.In the course of writing this paper,â… once engaged in research work on medical image processing and simulation results for magnetic-induction hyperthermia at medical physics and engineering graduate school in Tsinghua University,and took part in the development of magnetic-induction hyperthermia treatment planning system in NUCTECH COMPANY LIMITED.
