Design And Implementation Of Media Server Based On HMP Technology

HMP (Host Media Processing) is the host media processing technology which Intel Corporation proposed, It uses the pure software way to realize the traditional pronunciation card in the pronunciation processing function, and it supports the standard H.323 protocol and the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)which be used in call control. At present only Intel Corporation and NMS Corporation has provided the commercial HMP software package. At present under these two companies' HMP technical supporting, there are many CTI system originally based on the pronunciation board card gradually are transplanted to HMP .This article project background is an actual project based on HMP technology and stream media technology for network pronunciation. This system's foundation is the pure software HMP technology which provided by NMS Corporation .This system applied the telecommunication letter command control pattern to network environ- ment and combined with stream media technology,and realized a pure stream media network pronunciation based on the HMP .This system is suitable to all network hearing tests requested strict pronunciation,or multichannel pronunciation enviroment. Under tutor's instruction,this article author participated in design and the realization work of the network pronunciation system media server end's session control module and stream media control module in this project.This article introduced the HMP commercial software package NMS PacketMedia HMP's characteristic and function, studied NMS Corporation's CTI developlatform NaturalAccess's work mechanism; analysed and compared call control protocol , including H.323 and SIP,discussed how to make choice between H.323 and SIP,combined with NMS Corporation's call control technology Natural Call Control (NCC)to design and realize the session control module; according to NMS Corporation's stream media control technical Media Stream Processing Protocol (MSPP),designed and realized stream media control module; determined the interactive information transmission between the media server and the customer end by the DTMF letter , introduced the DTMF sequence principle of design,introduced the design process of deternimation for system's pronunciation code form;studied the NMS Corporation's media gateway server development platform Fusion and combined with NCC,MSPP and DTMF technology to analyse these technology how to work together and integration strategy ,designed media server;Last ,made the summary research and the development work, and proposed the forecast to the next step of work...
