The speech signal processing technologies, such as speech recognition, speech building, speech control and so on, need clean speech which gained from noisy speech to process. Noise badly influences the performance of these applications, even makes them invalid. Consequently it is becoming more urgent to be solved that getting as clean as possible speech from noisy speech and enhancing the estimated clean speech. This paper provides an adaptive beamforming microphone array speech enhancement algorithm based on GSC (Generalized Sidelobe Canceller). This algorithm utilizes beamforming algorithm with GSC structure, subband structure and partially adaptive technique, to improves noise canceling performance. This algorithm can suppress the uncorrelated noise and correlated noise efficiently, convergent rate, less algorithm complexity. The simulations of the proposed adaptive beamforming speech enhancement algorithm with MATLAB are given. Experiments indicate that the microphone array speech enhancement system based on this improved GSC has better output signal-to-noise ratio than its counterpart.
