Along with the fast development of computer technology, the technology of digital image is widely used in science and engineering fields. Image denoising, segmenting and decomposing are basics of higher image processing like image object recognition and analysis. The results of theirs will directly affect the quality of the later processing.Firstly, based on image decomposition model of Vese and Osher, an adaptive image decomposing approach that selecting the most appropriate parameters adaptively based on the gradient information of each pixel is proposed in this paper. Numerical experiments show that the proposed method preserve sharp boundaries of cartoon while extracting textures adequately. Secondly, because the Vese–Osher model can remove the noise in the texture part, the method of Image restoration based on the compensation of texture is proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that it can improve the quality of image denoising. Lastly, in this paper, An kind of image processing method combining texture extraction with contour detection is proposed, and numerical experiments show that the proposed method can decompose a given image into a cartoon and an oscillatory component better while detecting contour well and truly.
