The Study Of PAPR In OFDM-CPM System

In this thesis, we use the concept of Continuous Phase Modulation (CPM) in OFDM system for reducation the PAPR of OFDM. A class of OFDM-CPM signals is introduced and several subclasses of signals such as OFDM-CPFSK, OFDM-multi-h CPFSK, OFDM-multi-h CPFSK with asymmetric parameters and so on.In this thesis, we present two novel algorithms for further reducating the PAPR of OFDM-CPM. One of them uses linear block codes with weighting functions,while another uses multiamplitude CPM signals. Numerical results of they are reported.According to thesis, our conclusion is that the PAPR of OFDM-CPM is lower than that of OFDM-PSK. PAPR can further be reduced if OFDM-CPM has combined conventional algorithms to reduce PAPR (such as Coding schemes, Weighting function and PTS), which is significant in current mobile communication.
