Motion tracking plays an important role in computer vision, it is applied to the defense, surveillances and traffics management. But it needs significantly computation cost, therefore, it is very meanful to design and implement a high performance hardware motion tracker facilitating the hardware characteristics of highly parallel,pipeline and highly data throughtouts.The design focuses on the really application on motion detection and tracking. Firstly, the chip functions and architecture are gained through analyzing the working process in reality. After simulation by high language,detailes the algorithms and logic designs. Lastly, based on Altera DE2 multimedia development kit, the simulations and verifications are performed. |
