With the situation of social security being increasingly complex, the work of public security has been facing a big challenge. In order to escape the punishment of the law, the criminals adopt the way which is more secret to cover the truth. In the process of investigating the case, the investigators frequently need to retrieve or find out the connective or valuable cue from the massive data. But in the traditional investigative way to collect or search massive data manually, the investigators will have to put too much effort, and thorough analyses are almost impossible. Besides, the data is not real-time usually. Therefore, due to the actual need of modern investigation, the development of the massive data system is very necessary, with which the police can not only quickly find the trace of criminals, but also analyze the data more flexibly with more information and clews figured out. In a word, it is urgent to set up the massive data storing and retrieval system for the police domain, in aid of the police investigation. Under this environment, we study and develop the Data Storing and Retrieval System of Internet Public Security (PSDS).In this paper, we first analyze the status and requirements of PSDS system. Then we study web storing structure and database strategy, and design its logical and physical architectures. Finally based on three-tier B/S model, we implement and deploy its four subsystems -- web presentation subsystem, mission application subsystem, data storing subsystem and data collecting subsystem. System capability and reliability testing is conducted, showing that PSDS system realizes our prospective goal.PSDS system improves the efficiency of data usage, through real-time data transmission, and powerful capability of retrieval and processing. Therefore, the achievement of this paper has a broader application value for the public security domain.
