Study On Technical Support System Of The Generation Companies

With power market reformed deeply,bidding strategies for generation companies is a crucial part of electricity energy transactions, in which scholars from domestic and outside have made many researches at present.These bidding strategies aim at maximizing their benefits , by manipulating the market legally,choosing suitable bidding curves, based on various regulations and limitation for guaranteeing power system running safely. So it is important for generation companies getting favorable position in competition to study the bidding strategies. To help generators bid, this paper also analyze some typical behaviors of generators, proposing some elementary bidding strategies.Power system marginal cost price prediction is essential for bidding properly since east China power market uses uniform clearing pricing method. This paper focuses on electricity price forecasting model and optimized bidding strategy, then has set up technical support system of bidding strategy, which is based on east China power market platform (the technical support system of Wujing No.2 generation company in east China power system).This paper emphasizes the research of bidding strategy and mathematical model, and the structure and the function of the system. It also has analyzed the system conditions in practice, which suggests that the optimized bidding strategy of this system could give the bidding strategy that is close to market clearing price. So it could be beneficial for the companies to maximize the profits. When the bidding strategy is given, we need choose appropriate risk preference factor to balance the profits and risk.
