The Composite cavity semiconducter laser with characteristics of narrow line width,thermal stability,low cost and stable frequence is the necessary source of R-FOG. However, the instability caused by mode hoping and hysteresis of the lasing wavelength of the CCSL,and the instability of output power have been the problems.therefore,the characteristics of CCSL need further study further to acquire the coherent light source with more accurate and stable lasing linewidth and wavelength.The development and applications of composite cavity semiconductor laser from its putting forward to today are introduced,then,expatiated on couple resonator theory,line width characteristics.In addition,several important parameters such as threshold gain,output power,line width and side mode rejection ratio were emulated and calculated with Matlab and the results are in good agreement with theory: for example, couple efficiency,cavity length,LD end reflectivity,At last I obtain the optimized results for the above paramenters these data. The time width is expected to be 10-4. |
