Optical phased array (OPA) technology is non-inertia, multi-functional, electronically controlled beam scanning technology. In the dissertation, the development background and conception of OPA was presented. The optical phased array (OPA) was designed through the discussion of phased array principle, and the programming method of OPA was preliminarily introduced. A liquid crystal is selected as the modulation material. Through performance simulation, the influence of different performance parameters of liquid devices on the liquid crystal optical phased array by performance simulation, and obtained the performance parameters of liquid crystal optical phased array which designed. The electrode edge effect of components was discussed, corresponding concrete methods of reducing the electric field edge effect were put forward, and the optimal performance parameters were brought forward, and also the time and developing prospect of the optical phased array utility were presented. |
