With the development of the science and technology, a new focus on atmospheric laser communication becomes more and more important in modern times. Compare with the Mobile Communication, Atmospheric laser communication has its own characteristics, such as it is easily be seriously affected by the weather situation, Atmospheric Laser Communication affected by the atmospheric turbulence will cause serious signal jitter, as so on. To achieve stability and reliability of laser communication, some methods must be taken to weaken the laser communication atmospheric effects.In this essay, based on the diversity technology and space-time coding technology to improve the atmosphere laser communication system performance .1. Space-time coding and Diversity on atmospheric turbulence channel, analyzing the feasibility of the intensity modulation / direct detection of atmospheric laser communication using space-time coding .2. Space-time code encoding and decoding numerical simulation and error analysis.3. Launched a multi-beam technology as the foundation, I come up with a viable space-time coding transmit diversity specific programs on atmospheric turbulence channel.Theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that based on the launch of diversity and space-time coding technology atmospheric turbulence can be greatly reduced on the impact of laser communication. improving the stability and reliability of the laser communications system.
