The rapid development of the Internet has accelerated the progress of society and has brought tremendous changes in our daily life. Along with the development of the internet and software technology innovation, the computer games have changed from stand-alone version to online games. At present, the online game market is exploding, and has attracted more and more professional game developers. Since the emergence of online games, from a purely text of games to 3D scene of large-scale online games, online games are widespread in the whole world, but also more diverse. So an increasing number of researchers begin to study the relevant technologies. Bridge is an elegant game as a sport, and is loved by many of the Internet users. Because in reality, it is far more difficult to get four people sitting in the same table than getting four players on a virtual table on the Internet. The online bridge game has become the main form of bridge play. This thesis mainly studies the design and implementation of computer bridge game. First, an analysis is given of the current structure of the server model, and then, a solution is proposed to bridge game for the online infrastructure programs, with detailed performance consideration. Secondly, a description is outlined of online bridge games design, detailed description of the game as well as the process of the communication protocol design. Third, a detailed description is given of the use of C# development language to program the bridge game and bridge games hall details. In the development of the system, the UML modeling technology and design theories have been used, which allows the system design and development to be more efficient. In this system, players are free to choose the table and seat to play the game. Routine facilities for bridge play are implemented to make the play process smooth and easy, including the bidding, card play, and chatting, just like a game in reality. Finally, some research on artificial intelligence with application in bridge game is discussed. Analysis of the current popular game search algorithms has been giver, and design and implementation of a double dummy algorithm has been described using the depth-first alpha-beta search method. It is a fundamental study for the intelligent computer bridge game, which no researchers in our country has yet tried.
