| Human society has entered information-based society. The modes of thinking, the needs of their own and their modes of conducts has changed extremely. Computer and information technology have been exerting revolutionary impact on every fields in our society. As such, history study also has been involved in this changes. The collation of Chinese ancient books which is the basic works of history study must make adjustment to meet the needs of the developments of social and history study.The collation of ancient books won't rigidly adhere to the old concepts,viewpoints,forms and methods any more. They must be broken through and be blazed new trails, which is the historical mission of people whose work is history study or collation of ancient books. It also brings new vitality to history study or collation of ancient books.This paper divides five parts. At first, it exposed the defect of traditional methods of collation of ancient books. Then indicated that the digitalization of Chinese ancient books is an inexorable trend of the collation of Chinese ancient books' developments. This paper also detailed some basic aspects of the digitalization of Chinese ancient books and proposed some suggestions to improving digitalization of Chinese ancient books. On the base of commentary and analysis about the present condition, this paper point out that culture is the substance subject of the digitalization of Chinese ancient books and looked ahead the intellectual ability of digitalization of Chinese ancient books. |
