The war in the future will be mostly fought on the information battlefield and determined by the information weapon, while it mainly behaves as an information war. So the security of information is the key factor of undertaking the information defense and capturing the control of information, of which the development are faced with new challenges.Information security equipment is a significant aspect to meet the requirement of the construction of the military communication and to keep military information safe and the commanding system smooth in the new times. As an important technique in the field of information security, researching and realization of deep packet filter technique plays an important role.The main work and contributions in this paper are listed as follow:1. A string-searching algorithm named QBM is put forward, which is more efficient.2. The filter policy is presented.3. Data structures for every filter rule\character and the whole are designed.4. QBM is implemented based on FPGA.5. A designation of the whole scheme of deep packet filter based on the structure of FPGA+FLASH is completed, which realizes a filter having the ability of access control, the characteristic of content filter as well as feedback. Also, it is configurable and very efficient.6. Finally, all the proposed functions are realized based upon FPGA technique and the rationality and validity of the design are tested through simulation.
