The Design And Realization Of Networked Distribution Management System Based On OFBiz Framework

The development of Internet has pushed the wide use of Web. It is becoming harder and harder for the simple J2EE framework to fulfill some large-scale systems that perform complicated programs. Thus operating framework such as OFBiz which formed by taking the technological framework as the fulcrum has got widely application. ln this paper,the development of OFBiz framework and its application construction is introduced briefly,and then discusses the basic designing idea of entity engine and analyzes the merits of OFBiz framework in developing software system. Combined with practical project,an application based on OFBiz framework is realized.According to the analysis of the problems in the progress of information for the small and medium enterprise, and the study of the new mode for small and medium-sized enterprises'information management development all over the world, and combining the problems which PO company hurried to resolve, a project named Pearl Orchid Distribution Management System (PODMS) was found, which was adopted by PO company. Now, a platform based on the OFBiz Framework was designed for the better assistance to the enterprise management method.Then,a framework was designed for the PODMS. With Object-Oriented Design method, the whole system was designed and developed. Particularly, we paid much attention to the Sub-System(Management of stock,Management of sales,Management of customer,Management of base-data,Management of system). Under the support of a 863 project, Developing & Applying Networked Distribution Platform based on ASP (PN: 2004AA414060), the PODMS case was implemented. And by the application of the case, the idea, which comes from the paper discussed about the theory of PODMS based on the OFBiz, was proven to be feasible and rational. During the process of executing the system, the technical characteristics and advantages of OFBiz have been fully showed. OFBiz offered an ideal basic framework on which development based. This system makes it possible for the developer to customize abide by their request and this system is also easy to be assembled and to be friendly used.
