Database disaster recovery system (SPDR) is an automatic database manager system with high availability. It provides a stable database backup and recovery platform and an integrate enterprise solution for the end users.The database disaster recovery system contains two sub systems: control and manager system and the service system. The control and manager system has the following main features: System Manager; Plan builder; Data Manager; Log Manager. The service system contains the register module, control module, log module, backup module and recovery module. The system provides a safety database server management, system recovery for the data servers and database backup platform. It is depended on the advance technology from all over the world for database backup and recovery with an easy-to-operate GUI for the database manager. It improves the backup efficiency and saves plenty of time. The system is designed to have a good solution for database recovery, it changed the traditional database backup method and is based on the latest technology. It is helpful for improving the database security and managing the backup data in a centralized system. It will trill down the risk for running management software. This system adopts software engineering idea of object-orientation, to according to the process of requirement, analysis, system design, object design, realization mode. It provides the recovery system based on the database cluster and realize the database backup and recovery. End user can manage the database by installing client on the database server, and it is a real One-To-Many manager system for database.Start from the network design to the system setup, it provides the integrate enterprise database recovery solution. Which contains the disaster recovery system based on database cluster, database backup and restore system, database monitor and manager system. The end users can manage and backup all the database servers all over the intranet.I have traversed the following aspects: database backup technology: after I have a fully understanding on database backup proceed all through the world, I came out a system design for how to run the database disaster recovery system, how to setup and construct the system, how many modules are reasonable and high available and the what is the key technology. This system is realized from the best database backup method after I compared with other database backup technologies. The good system design is based on the understanding of database recovery requirements from the end users, this system is designed better for most of the internal end users. The aim for this system is to solve the real problems for the current database backup and to fix most of the requirements. On the database disaster recovery hand, refer to much technical information, I learned a lot for database cluster. I used this technology to backup the database server, and have the database disaster recovery system. Conjugate with the database backup technology, this system is more stable and can fit the database disaster recovery requirements from the companies. This system is developed by language C# with plenty of xml files for message transaction protocol.
