The object of OpenWSN hardware design is high quality performance. The chip of CC2420, which supports IEEE 802.15.4 Standard, is used as the wireless communication controller. LPC2146, which is based on ARM Core is used as the centre process unit.It is important to know the nodes location. Given the location information of the nodes, one can not only use the nodes' sensor information, but also the location information to,exploit the new application of WSN.The location of sensor node is deviated from the actual position, the reason is analyzed in this article, a new method is advanced to predict barriers among nodes to improve the precision of node location. Simulation result proves the precision after these methods are considered.The wireless received signal strength detect is realized in OpenWSN hardware, and saved in a table, to find the corresponding information in the table and use the arithmetic of three-edge to locate the nodes. Using strain gauge to detect the pressure of architecture, with the location information of nodes, set up a good platform of architecture movement measuring.Strain gauge is used to measure the stress of architecture, together with the location of sensor nodes, architecture 's movement will be detected on the platform of Open WSN in the future.
