Space Debris is the new space environment we will face, the research on which has been paid great attention all over the world. Space Debris Mitigation requires restraining and clearing the Space Debris, which is of great importance during the whole process of designing, manufacturing, launching, operating and completing tasks of spacecraft. Space Debris Mitigation is one of important parts of designing spacecrafts and plays the main role of mitigating Space Debris. Based on the Knowledge Representation for Space Debris Mitigation and Reasoning model, the thesis has built Space Debris Mitigation design Expert System to improve the intelligentized level of Space Debris Mitigation design through integrating system modulars. The thesis has lucubrated on some problems related to the Knowledge Representation and Expert System realization for Space Debris Mitigation Design, the main contents of which contain:1. The thesis has systematically analyzed the knowledge relatedi with Space Debris Mitigation design. We has designed the stdandard of Space Debris Mitigation and studied the Space Debris Mitigation technology, which are redounded to establish the Knowledge Representation Methods for Space Debris Mitigation Design.2. The thesis has established the Knowledge mode of Space Debris Mitigation design. Base on the characteristics of Knowledge representation of Space Debris Mitigation Design, we have chosen Production Rules method to represent Space Debris Mitigation Design Knowledge and added the certainty factors to implement the uncertainty Reasoning.3. Based on the certainty factors in Production Rules and uncertainty Reasoning technology, the thesis has chosen the Jess Engine to implement the reasoning process. With the realization of Jess Reasoning Rules and the research on Rete Match algorithm, we have built the reasoning model of Space Debris Mitigation design by forward reasoning method based on the Knowledge representation of Space Debris Mitigation Design.4. With the Space Debris Mitigation Design Knowledge Representation and Reasoning model, we have built a preliminary Expert System realization for Space Debris Mitigation Design.
