In the filed of micro-hole machining ,high speed drilling is operated agile ,hole's precision is good, and it's cost is low, but the drill is opt to break off and it's life-span can't be estimate exactly. Because of the eCAN restrict of computer, the conventional system of monitoring and controling of the micro-hole drilling's data-disposing rate is low , and it's hardware resource is not enough, meanwhile , it's instruction's collection is too simple .so ,in order to attain the aim of monitoring and controling of the micro-hole drilling , it will take some measures to deal with this problem . such as , setting proper postpone for system, or minishing the threshold. But it will nock down the real-time nature of the system and the using time of drill. As a result, it will be a trend for the technology of on-line monitoring and controling in micro-hole drilling.Nowdays, along with the development of DSP, signal monitoring and electromotor-controlling system based on DSP is well integrated, and it's operation speed is higher than"data-collecting block—computer—singlechip"system. The paper's intent is to monitor the principal axis's current signal, and control the movement of driving system with TMS320F2812 as the key data signal processor.The paper includes DSP technology, power supply technology, sensor technology, electromotor-controlling technology. And the paper has a study for the system of on-line monitoring and controling in micro-hole drilling.in the facet of hardware, software, experiment, how to fix on the threshold of the system.Firstly, the paper set up a hardware flat of online monitoring and control system based on DSP. the design of the control function board is analyzed in detail on the paper. The key technology, such as reset circuit, clock circuit, A/D sampling I/O, memory I/O, SCI, CAN, and JTAG is emphasized. Then the integration of every subsystem is discussed. The performance of the control function board is so superiority that it achieved our target in the beginning. Moreover, a majority of devices are integrated in a DSP chip. It predigests the design of the monitoring and control system, and provides better performance. With the Integration Develop Environment in MATLAB platform, a program is designed in the manner of figure with C28x DSPlib, Simulink and other Arithmetic libraries, and simulated in the Simulink environment. The program is generated executable files with Real-Time Workshop automatic, and loaded to the target DSP to run. Finally, we connect hardware and run the software and debug it.It is verified that the monitoring system based on DSP could predict the tool wear, and quit tool timely and avoid tool break effectively. Provide an effective method for on-line monitoring tool state in micro-hole drilling. The system replaces the former one with DSP chip. This monitoring method greatly increases the process speed, and accordingly improves the real-time ability.Finally, the paper set up the math model of the system of on-line monitoring and controlling based on experiment data, reliability theory,and so on:Otherwise, the paper carry through an reliability examination for the system on the different credibility degrees. As a result, the threshold attained from above math model can effectively avoid drill's break.
