The technique of the on-line monitoring and control in micro-hole drilling is developing. At present, the monitoring system composed of computer, data acquisition card and MCU is applied widely. Many kinds of parameters can be monitored in the system in order to control the micro-hole drilling. However, for the low operating speed, inadequate hardware resource and simple instruction, the system is not adapted to the processing of weak and quick digital signals. And the improper operation will be often occurred.In order to avoid the shortage in these systems, and make the micro-hole drilling better, we put forward the study on on-line monitoring and control system of micro-hole drilling based on DSP for the first time, which consists of DSP technology, power supply technology, sensor technology, and motor control technology. We research the center axis's current through the system in order to find out whether the drill is in the normal way. The system can make the micro-hole drilling better in stability and dependability.First, to the demands of the monitoring and control of the micro-hole drilling, in terms of the principle of the DSP choice, and balancing the performance of the DSP, the TMS320F2812 is chosen as the core chip, and a system is built up based on the chip. During the micro-hole drilling, the current signal is converted to voltage signal that is accepted by the DSP through the Hall sensor, and then the data acquired through the A/D is processed in the DSP, finally the PWM wave will be generated, that can control the motor, in order to master the process of the drilling.Then, the design of the control function board is analyzed in detail on the paper. The key technology, such as reset circuit, clock circuit, A/D sampling I/O, memory I/O, SCI, CAN, and JTAG is emphasized. Then the integration of every subsystem is discussed. The performance of the control function board is so superiority that it achieved our target in the beginning. Moreover, a majority of devices are integrated in a DSP chip. It predigests the design of the monitoring and control system, and provides better performance. Finally, the design of the main circuit in the system is studied in detail. First, we give out the method of the design of the system's power, and try our best to supply a reliable power. At the same time, we also do some research on the sequence for the DSP. And then, we analyze the monitoring circuit based on the HALL sensor, which can give a reliable voltage signal. At last, the driver of the step motor is expounded, and the drive circuit is designed.The key technology of the on-line monitoring system of the micro-hole drilling is particularly researched, which is based on DSP such as DSP technology, power supply technology, sensor technology, and motor control technology in the paper. The system used in the micro-hole drilling improves the manufacture's stability and dependability, and paves a way for more research in the micro-hole drilling in the future.
