The Research And Design On Network Management System For Military VSAT Network

With Shenzhou VI emission,Chang'e-1 Luna probe and the blastoff of military affairs satellite, satellite communications is developing at very fast speed in China, the satellite communication network extends gradually, and its complexity increases also. VSAT networks, as one of the important parts of integrated military information networks, can supply successful interconnection for various military units on islands or in desert. Perfect network management system can ensure that network runs efficaciously and automatically. It is very significant to build a scalable and maintainable network management system using of VSAT.In this thesis, integrated with feature of military communication and based on protocol, a scheme of VSAT network management is studied, and following works have been investigated and researched:1,The basic theory and principle of SNMP network management protocol set and its architecture are deeply learned and understood, according to the characters of used military VSAT, required architecture, protocols and key techniques of VSAT network management are further analyzed and studied.2,Accordance with managed resource of VSAT, a scheme of military VSAT network management system is made out ,including its architecture structure, channel assigning, multi-services management and security authentication etc.
