The DAB Technology And Its Application In Home Theatre

In order to design the products capable of receiving DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) signal asked by the headquarter, this thesis introduces Eureka-147 DAB system and realizes the application of it in the home-theater. This system can offer the user the high quality audio signal and all the data service transmitted through DAB system.According to the principle of Eureka-147 DAB system, I have first designed a DAB receiving platform, which adopts TUA6034T and TDA6192 for receiving and processing the RF signal, FS1010 for the DAB baseband processor, serial boot flash and stereo audio DAC, this platform is a complete DAB receiving system.For extending its functions and cost down, this platform is designed as a module; we call it the DAB module. Utilizing this module, the user can conveniently produce a low cost Digital Radio receiver by simply adding the necessary peripheral equipments—such as LCD module,key pad,power source and antenna etc. Alternatively, this module can be adopted by other traditional products such as TV receivers, Car audio and home-theater etc, easily .
