Sage: Simple Adaptive Grid Engine

SAGE: Simple Adaptive Grid Engine,is a pure C++ distributed grid middleware we implementing. It's built for communications between desktop applications and cluster computing services. The article introduces the SAGE distributed parallel computing model and the detail implementation of SAGE middleware, including low-level communicate system, communication management, IDL, User Interface, client and server implementation, cluster computing support, naming service and optical network support. SAGE has been successfully set up in Intelligent Traffic Informatin Service of ShanghaiGrid II. The performance of SAGE exceeds 80% of traditional industry middleware: ICE, and over 4 times of Web Service.
