Research On Multi-touch-Based Multimodal Human-Computer Interface Design

On the condition of Experience economy, design brings people more living feeling and experience in stead of function and form. With the recent development of the digital time, 'Machine Oriented', the value of design in Industry economy has been represented by 'People Oriented'. Through the research of Multimodal Human-Computer Interface, the interactive mode will change from human-computer to human-human.Gesture is a natural way to express human's meaning, through which people can transmit great amounts of information. Multi-touch, which is quite different from the traditional touch way with one finger, is the technology for multi-finger, multi-hand and multi-user and gives supports rich gestures. Thus, multi-touch provides user not only efficient interaction and a more natural using experience as well.At the anger of art design, the paper aims to give the research on friendly human-computer interface design and try to find the conclusion of design methods of multimodal human-computer interface with the combination of the theory of design aesthetics, chromatics, psychology etc.
