OPO as a kind of high coherence tunable laser source has been attracting many researchers for its unique characters.Recently,with the development of nonlinear frequency conversion crystal(NFCC) and solid-state laser technology,research activities in this area are heating up.The research on KTP-OPO system lasing at 1.57μm eye-safe wavelength is one of the favorite topics.By using a typeⅡnoncritically phase-matched(x-cut,θ=90°,φ=0°) singly resonant KTP-OPO system,laser at 1.57μm can be achieved.In this thesis,an eye-safe 1.57μm KTP-OPO pumped by a Cr4+:YAG passively Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is theoretically and experimental studied.This article has made the detailed analysis to the person eye security laser technology, has carried on the choice and the design to the laser crystal and the resonant cavity as well as optics parameter oscillator,and uses Cr4+:YAG passive Q-switched laser pulse Nd:The YAG laser took KTP OPO the pump source,obtains 1.06μm output laser.Through the experiment,uses x-cut the KTP crystal,KTP the OPO cavity selects the average cavity structure,is long,the cavity mirror size to the cavity and the input pair carries on the optimized design.Way may realize 1.06μm laser by OPO to the 1.57μm person eye security laser frequency transformation,obtained the so wave length output laser photo source, simultaneously to the laser volume,the weight,the outward appearance,the energy conservation and so on has variously made the concrete optimized design.The OPO laser output energy is 33mJ;pulse width is 6.8ns;laser angle of divergence is 3.76mrad.
