TWT belongs to microwave tube, It is a very important device in the field of microwave communications. Against the application needs of TWT test power supply, we study TWT powers under the guidance of instructors.I specifically study the Spiral Line Power Supply in TWT powers,design a half-bridge switching power supply based on PWM and use SCM to control and display.The switching power supply achieves high-resolution adjustable output voltage,which has low ripple and high stability.The design selects integrated controller TL494 as core of TWT Spiral Line Power Supply.The paper designs and analysises the switching power supply based on EMI filter circuit,SCR voltage regulation circuit,Half-bridge converter circuit,PWM control circuit, rectifier and filter circuit, driver and protection circuit, temperature measurement circuit, thermostat system, SCM control system.The specifications of TWT Spiral Line Power Supply request that output voltage adjusts continuously between 2KV and 6KV whose resolution is 0.5V,output voltage ripple coefficient is less than 5×10-5, transient stability is less than 5×10-5,long-term stability is less than 1×10-4, load adjusted rate is less than 2×10-4.TWT test power supply are acceptanced by The General Armament Department and have been applied to TWT test platform. We have obtained good results, Especially in the aspects of adjustment sensitivity, ripple coefficient and stability coefficient,the TWT test power supply are in a leading position in China.
