Digital holography as commonly known mostly record hologram based on CCD, and realize the digital holographic reconstruction through computer simulation. A new method of digital holography is presented in this paper, the charge-coupled device (CCD) and electrically addressed liquid crystal display (EALCD) are combined. CCD is used to record the hologram and the reconstructed hologram, and EALCD is used to reconstruct the hologram in stead of recording medium of traditional optical holography. This method not only avoid the developing , fixing of traditional hologram recording material, but also the drawback of nonlinear recording; and can realize the three-dimensional testing based on phase shift method which general digital hologram is unable. In order to certify the availability of this method, we study the Fourier transform hologram and the reconstruction of object under test contained reflection type and transmission type. Experimental results indicate that the combination of the CCD and EALCD can make the optical reconstruction of digital hologram come true, and also the real-time reconstruction. This method can be used to digital holographic interferometric measurement.
